tips for our guests:
On the way in Salzburger Saalachtal approx. 4.50h
Across the Auerwiesen to the Obermayerberg, over to Reith, Innersbachklamm Unken and with the bus back.
Here you can see, what huge power – job the small river in the last hundert years has been done.
The most famous is the Innersbachklamm - a great place for wild swimming! A small rock pool is situated at the entrance to the gorge. Cool off in the stream which leads to the Saalach. Great combined with a walk through the Innersbachklamm.
Up to the Naturalpark Weißbach approx. 4.00h
Across Pürzlbach over to the Kallbrunnalm – one from the salzburger & bavarian farmers farmed cottage – short stop at the Kashütte (cheese cottage) and then the way over the Weißbach cottage back.
Short transfer to the hotel.
The Kallbrunnalm is the biggest communal cottage in the Naturpark Weißbach and is farmed from 14 salzburger and 16 bavarian farmers. The wonderful wooden cottages with gabled roofs are making up the charm of this beautiful alpine landscape. Sitting at cozy tables in front of the cottage, with the ringing of cowbells and a wonderful view over the Kallbrunnalm and the surrounding mountains – that is the way you can enjoy the alpine life!
"The Vorderkaserklamm and its orchids" about 4.50 h
The Vorderkaserklamm - 51 wooden walkways with 35 stairways and 373 stairs -natural pure. Perhaps we see some rare orchids.
"The Grubhörndl - the top and the Loferer Alm" approx. 5.00 h
Over meadows and alpine pastures on the Grubhörndl (1747 m), the view is breathtaking - downhill on the Loferer Alm (1400m) and over the waterfall path to the Loderbichl and then we gondeln with the train into the valley - downhill also from Loferer Alm possible.
The Waterfall Trail: 12 interesting stations make the hike for children informative and entertaining. The information boards provide interesting information about the Loferer Alm and the local habits, but they also provide playful variety.
